Part 1:  Is Wind the right renewable energy resource for me?

Much has been made of our dependence on foriegn oil to meet the energy
needs in the United States of America. But it is not a dependence on foriegn oil
that is the the problem. Its the fact that we are dependent on oil period. 
We have an OIL (carbon) based economy that ensures we can not simply stop using
OIL. We must have an economic equivalent to fill the vaccum left as oil is done
away with.

The New Years Resolution is going well.  I have been doing what I can to
reduce the amount of plastic bottles and jugs that we are purchasing and to
reuse as many as I can, but the rest must be recycled.  Its actually
starting to be fun!  Can you believe it?

The technology that can help Obama keep these promises has been around for over
a hundred years and has patents issued for its use in automobiles as far back as
1937.   The technology I am referring to is Electrolysis (the
separation of water into its constituent gases Hydrogen and Oxygen) and the

Election 2008 was one of the most watched and followed elections in US
history.  It involved every form of media from the traditional print, radio
and TV ads to mobile messaging, social networking web sites, and everthing in
between.  Both candidates made a lot of promises, and since Senator McCain
did not win, so we may never really know how many he made and will not

This portion of my blog will chronicle my efforts
to "Practice What I Preach" and "Go GREEN". 

I made that New Years Resolution to "Go
Green".  It seemed simple enough, but as I looked around, I saw all of the
things that I did not want to give up.  But after giving the subject some
thought, I realized that it's not about giving stuff up, its about taking
responsibility for ME and my impact on the world around me.  I also
realized that its about finding better alternatives.

There are many definitions of "REVOLUTION" but the most relevant is "a drastic
and far-reaching change in ways of thinking and behaving; an overthrow or
repudiation and the thorough replacement of an established government or
political system by the people governed."

With natural resources
dwindling, landfills overflowing, food supplies being chemically treated, our
water supplies being contaminated, our oceans dying and filling with
indestructable plastic waste, and an insatiable appetite for energy, its time
